J. Daniell Rackley,
M.D., was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. He received
his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, where
he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated Magna cum
Laude in 1997. He attended medical school at the Medical
College of Georgia where he was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Rackley completed his surgical
internship and Urology residency at Wake Forest University,
in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Rackley has written textbook chapters in The Textbook of Laparoscopic Urology and The Handbook of Tissue Engineering. He has published numerous journal articles on prostate cancer, kidney stones, and pediatric urology. His interests are laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as female and pediatric urology. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, the Florida Medical Association and the Capital Medical Society. He and his wife, Jennifer, have one daugher and are members of Trinity United Methodist Church. |
